The pH scale is a measure of the acidity or basicity (alkalinity) of a solution.
It tells us how concentrated hydrogen ions (H⁺) are in a solution.

pH of Pure Water:
The pH of pure water is exactly 7.
This means pure water is neutral  neither acidic nor basic.
