Nepal has developed several educational policies and programs to improve access, quality and inclusive education. These policies will lead to school development, higher and technical education throughout the country. 1. The Law of Education, 2028 (1971)

• The Nepal Foundation works on educational systems.
• This school structure provides curriculum, exams and management.
• It has been modified several times to adapt to variable needs.

2. National Education System Program (NESP) - 1971-1976

• The first basic program of educational reforms.
• The goal is to nationalize and standardize education.
• This promoted professional training and eliminated educational inequality.

3. School Reform Program (SSRP) - 2009-2016

• The school system has been rebuilt.
• Elementary Education: Scores 1-8
• Secondary Education: Grades 9 to 12
• Improved access, especially for girls, siblings and communities.
