The easiest way to configure your TikTok privacy settings is as follows: Control the permissions for your videos: You have control over who can see your videos and leave comments. Keep your favorite videos and following list hidden: To limit who may view the accounts you follow and the videos you've liked, you can change your privacy settings. Manage your direct messages: The majority of fraudsters use unsolicited direct messages (DMs) to contact victims. Change your settings so that only individuals you accept may DM you in order to weed out the fraudsters. Keep your contacts private: TikTok keeps requesting that you login to your Facebook account or share your smartphone contacts. To safeguard your device's contacts and yourself, don't do this. To deactivate access if you have previously synchronized, navigate to Settings & Privacy > Privacy > Sync Contacts. Turn off the toggles for Facebook and contacts on your phone.
